Using ArcGIS Mobile Apps to Control Invasive Species

Abstract

The Lake County Forest Preserve District manages more than 30,000 acres of diverse habitat in northeastern Illinois and is challenged to restore these habitats and control invasive species that have already invaded and reduced the quality of these areas. With the help of ArcGIS Mobile Apps including ArcGIS Field Maps and ArcGIS Survey123 the District has streamlined our ability to manage our habitat restoration activities by staff, volunteers and contractors through location sharing, surveys and web maps.
