Abstract

The city of Geneseo, Illinois, in collaboration with Cloudpoint Geospatial, is providing a GIS-based solution to display and monitor where and when power outages occur, while enabling public engagement with a map viewer and form for citizens to communicate unreported power outages. Attendees will learn how the City Electric Department staff utilizes ArcGIS apps and dashboards to monitor and convey outage information, and how citizens participate during an outage event.
